Looks like I started a shiitstorm. Not changing my mind tho, my Postal Vote has already gone. I can see the faults in JC but there's no way that utter cockwomble Johnson is getting my vote!

So Joshua or Ruiz tonight?

Things aren't getting better over there and for once happy to be outside of it. I can't vote for either of those two so will have to be one that says anything remotely reasonable even if they have no chance of getting elected.
Who's your TD? Mine's Leo Varadkar, wish he was running in the UK elections.

Having said that he's Fine Gael, formerly the Original (Old) IRA but I supposed that's allowed.

refuses to apologise for anti semetic remarks

Can you find a video of Corbyn making any anti-semetic remarks?

1 of the candidates has, on many, many occasions stood for the few, stood for the minorities, campaigned against racism etc.
The other has written many articles, and even published book, which dehumanised women to sexual objects, and points out people from different races based on their appearance alone throughout.
According to the UK media, one of them is an anti-semite, but the other isn't a racist or sexist.
All you have to do is try scraping back some of the **** the right wing focused media are shovelling and apply a little common sense.

Of course it's equally obvious why he hasn't apologised. He hasn't done anything. As soon as he apologises, the biased media will simply push that he IS an anti-semite, the apologise will basically justify the existence.

I don't particularly like Corbyn, but Boris is toxic.

Yeah it's a mess indeed.
Morally wrong that the Rich get Richer and the Poor just keep Suffering.
Boris will bring back Workhouses.
Very Sad times.

Even the wreath laying isn't as it suggested if you read the press, not linking anything, DYOR.

And the famous pic of Corbyn at a Paramilitary IRA funeral (actually that of Bobby Sands) isn't even Corbyn, it's some chap called James Gibney of something who had same scruffy hair and beard...

Of course there's no way I'd suggest JC is a paragon of virtue, of course he isn't, but he's as near as you'd get in this day and age, Jesus Christ just look at Johnson, Thatcher, Churchill, all responsible for terrible things. Bevin, Gaitskell, Hardie, on the hand...

None were PM, you can argue it’s very easy to be virtuous if you’re not in charge.

Didn’t Bevan leave government in disgust at Gaitskell’s introduction of charges to the NHS?

Wasn't Gaitskell dead before the end of the war? And the start of the NHS?

Not “very much due” according to this

This is good, checking facts is the way forward, your source is still press though, why not go directly to the independent source instead?

I can equally do what channel 4 have done and state that the above says it’s “entirely plausible” which isn’t even all that out of context.

What’s wrong with CH4? The source of the FullFact report is the BBC.

This, is the single most indicting reason why we can continue as we are...

I think the election comes down to one thing and one thing only given the diabolical choice of current parties/ leaders/ the deteriorating situation.

If you want to leave the Eu - you will vote Tory and hold your nose.
If you wanna stay in the Eu - you will vote Lib Dem and hold your nose.
If you don't know wtf you want regarding the EU and wish even more farcical Eu negotiation and even more months of misery and nonsense from a party that cannot decide what it wants to do on a daily basis - you will vote Labour and hold your nose.
You will then pretend that somehow you have united the country and that all is well.

If you don't vote you will be responsible for determining the final result too - hold your nose and vote.

All other issues, NHS blah, blah, blah are irrelevant as everything promised, will never happen in the way its been stated. That is for 100% sure.

I've a gut feeling that Parliament will be hung and that is the worst of all possible worlds as it will render the UK in an even more atrocious position.
