True
Most people would think the rich are those who pay little or no tax because they're rich enough not to have their money in the UK where it's taxed but in offshore tax havens which funnily enough are allowed by the government , I wonder why that could be
If you think the rich pay tax then you really are deluded
Members of the House,Need I remind the Remaintown member of the Significantly bigger budget of remain, or indeed the example of how to complete the ballot paper by ticking the remain box.
Perhaps you will find my manifesto below entertains too.
1.Impliment Brexit, re-unite the Kingdom
2.Rectify the gender inequalities of our Gregorian calender
3.Appoint Michael McIntyre as deputy
4. Deal with aob.
Disclaimer- whilst this is my manifesto I may totally disregard everything on it once I have been elected.
I’ll give way.
Members of the House,
I have received many messages overnight asking me to clarify point 2 and asking why my manifesto is short on detail.
Re. Point 2
Simple, gender inequality in any form must be rectified, fairly.
The Gregorian calender has been with us for 437 years during which time it has enjoyed a feminine bias. The crisis occurring in the UK lies solely at the feet of May and “Leave” members of this house (7) are sick and tired of the mere mention of her. The thought of being associated with May for 31 days is repulsive.
Accordingly I will overhaul of the current system.
From 2020 and to establish gender fairness, April, May and June will be known as Tom, Dick and Harry for the following 437 years. I repeat “No May is better than a bad May!”
July (prounced Julie by some women) will remain, for now, under the condition that it is pronunced clearly as Jooleye.
If, after a years trial period, this condition is not adhered to, Julie, will be renamed “Bob” which will add a nice touch of humour for the second have of the year.
My manifesto may be short on detail but that provides little room for criticism that I have not achieved what I set out to do.
The current house has just rejected everything once more and has said once again “no”. This is in clear breach of the detail in their manifestos and shows their abject failure.
I on the other hand will be unaccountable, flawless.
Finally can I ask the near naked protesters visiting the house today to return as I didn’t have my camera handy.
!’ii happily give way.....”
The member is clearly manipulating the data. I have never been out for a drink with January, March (a remainers favourite which is still up for deletion), Julie and August.More men than women in the months.
Jan, Mar, Jul, Aug after men
May, Jun after women.
There a tv in our building showing the BBC news channel, and I just saw that Barny reckons a No Deal Brexit is the most likely! Joy!
Better get used to the M20 being shut. An accident this morning closed the road, only 2 vehicles involved. But that's all you need to shut the road!
A 17 mile diversion is in place with the obvious hold ups and traffic chaos for the surrounding areas.
Not so, its all scaremongering. I saw an interview with the Dover Chief Operations Director who was asked about what effects it would have and he said little or none. I have tried to find the interview which was about a month ago but cant find it.
He was extremely annoyed that the press/remain campaigners were using it as ammunition when it simply was not true.
A good friend of mine is one of the largest privately owned hauliers out of Dover, he said to me that the Port Officials have been saying that there will be no disruption, as they do not want to lose trade to the likes of Folkestone (if it's re-opened), Felixstowe, Harwich, Tilbury etc.
He said everyone knows there will be delays, otherwise why would they spend £39million on a stacking system on the M20?
Forth Ports (who own Dover) have been telling everyone who will listen that there will be no issues whatsoever. Yet everyone who works at Dover, knows the exact opposite.
It stands to reason, where a lorry can be checked in, and out in 20 seconds now, in the event of a No Deal Brexit will have to have an inventory check (even if it's just the manifest), and that will take 3-4 minutes each load. Much longer if the lorry has a visual check.
How true this is I don't know, but that's the view my mate had at the weekend.
