I think for a senior politician to make comments like that is absolutely disgusting, and will have done immense harm to a lot of peoples perception of Europe, I wouldn't mind betting that if there were a vote to 'stay with May's deal, or leave with no deal, his remarks would have influenced a lot of people on both sides to say 'go to ****, were off'.Anyone else think Donald Tusk's comments were spot on?

I suggest you read the Davis and Raab resignation letters from months and months ago that I posted earlier.The thing is, they did negotiate a deal. The issue is that quite a lot of people don’t like it and conflate this dislike to the competence of the negotiators.
From this distance it’s had to say if it was incompetent or not, in my view, but it seems unlikely that the negotiators we dragged in off the street and probably had some experience in these matters.
What is clear is that Brexit utopia is a bit of a pipe dream, certainly in the short term. Deal or no deal, a transfer of jobs and wealth to the EU is already happening. But we might as well just get on with it, the constant infighting is probably more harmful than the outcome:
