Fleetwood Mac are closet Europhiles, they even named their 1979 album "Tusk"! Frankly, I think Teresa is having a final "Tango in the night" with the boys in Brussels! :D Although this does all feel a bit more like "Tragedy" from the BeeGees..............;) Stay happy all....

Anyone else think Donald Tusk's comments were spot on?

I think for a senior politician to make comments like that is absolutely disgusting, and will have done immense harm to a lot of peoples perception of Europe, I wouldn't mind betting that if there were a vote to 'stay with May's deal, or leave with no deal, his remarks would have influenced a lot of people on both sides to say 'go to ****, were off'.

Let’s all get creative....lymerick thread.

President Tusk abuses and belittles,
Europes arrogance on show- no acquittals.
So we should stand tall,
And with “no deal” show them all,
Cos if one leaves, we know it’ll be skittles.

I'm off to Mexico for a week. I want all this brexit cr@p done and dusted by the time I get back otherwise they'll be trouble...do you hear me?

Not only that but I want a decision on Marmite, do we love it or hate it? This, I can let go for two weeks....

I haven't stayed bang up to date on the intracies of all of this but I'm amazed at the inability of alleged intelligent people to 'negotiate' a deal. I don't see much compromise or negotiation going on.

If we weren't in the EU now at all and the EU were offering us the deal they are offering would we be chomping at the hit to join? No.

I understand the EU may feel that a precident could be set if they concede too much but I think the EU are not being objective at all. Our way or the highway. It is leaving us with little choice.

I think we all realise a full or hard Brexit with us leaving would be painful for all and should be avoided. However if it happens it happens and we shouldn't be afraid of it as an option and a likely outcome. We've dealt with worse situations before and will deal with worse again.

I still do find it bizarre that intelligent people can't negotiate a deal.

The thing is, they did negotiate a deal. The issue is that quite a lot of people don’t like it and conflate this dislike to the competence of the negotiators.

From this distance it’s had to say if it was incompetent or not, in my view, but it seems unlikely that the negotiators we dragged in off the street and probably had some experience in these matters.

What is clear is that Brexit utopia is a bit of a pipe dream, certainly in the short term. Deal or no deal, a transfer of jobs and wealth to the EU is already happening. But we might as well just get on with it, the constant infighting is probably more harmful than the outcome.

D4mn straight! He's giving h3ll a bad reputation.
Diplomats are supposed to hold the moral high ground.regardless.

We’ve had “cake” incidents and “ nebulous” confrontations.
To be fair to May. She hasn’t stooped that low.

Perhaps that’s the problem.....our mistake. We’re way too honourable.

Perhaps A male would have stood up and told this bunch what’s what.

I suggest you read the Davis and Raab resignation letters from months and months ago that I posted earlier.
Total PM incompetence and backstabbing re agreed moves, a belief in something that suffered the biggest defeat in history.........but against all advice...even legal advice that outlined the dangers.

Yet, Our remainer pm pushed forward with a deal that was dead early last year.....against ALL advice.

Something stinks.

Why did she do this?

Our pm’s a buffoon called T May,
Her deal or no deal - is our only way.
She’ll deliver a “Brexit”
But we’ll never exit.
Juncker, Tusk and remainers say “Hooray”
