Re the above:- Changed for the better ? I don’t think so, how has life changed for the better, a lot of people and their relatives (18,00 plus) would disagree.
You could always drink every day, if that was your personal choice, nothing changed there has it.
No pressure ? tell that to those and their families who have no choice but go out to work and face the consequences.
Nobody in town, hopefully that’s true, they are being responsible.
Quiet roads, agreed, but no where to go. Have I missed anything.
Myself and mine, like many others are trying to make the best of it as much as we can but I disagree with all of your statements above, sorry! I just had to say so.

Each to their own. When given lemons, some people suck them and some make lemonade. Personally, I get a bottle of gin. Do what makes it best for you. Btw, I've already gone through the pain of losing both parents, so I've moved past that and I'm now enjoying the lemons.

I can see why this comment was made but maybe some remote home diagnosis via various means might actually reduce NHS burdens. We have proven face to face physical diagnosis at a doctor surgery or hospital is not always needed.

I wasn't having a pop , I assume you can turn the subtitles on and off OK , people likely to buy these machines will be elderly with money ( again not a pop) :D

I was curious to see what it was , first 3 places that came up were out of stock, if it becomes the next panic buy item I can see 111 getting swamped with my "machine says I'm dying" calls they can do nothing about so these people will end up banging on the doors of A&E

Panic buying and crawling over people to buy toilet rolls shows the sort of people we're dealing with here, first time I went to Asda there was almost a fight in the queue to get in when a guy stood right behind the guy in front and refused to move , we weren't even in the shop yet

I do 100% agree with you. With a certain proportion of the population I can certainly understand the issues. I like to think I am a little more thoughtful....often far too much so than your normal thinker.

I bought mine at Win Health btw.

It’s not the government’s responsibility, it’s the management of the NHS that is responsible. All Health Trusts/Boards have comprehensive risk registers and are part of regional/national planning/procurement groups. It’s too easy to blame the government for everything when hugely bureaucratic organisations should carry the can and have planned/reacted better. Massively regrettable and the government now needs to step in and assist but the ‘pass it to the top’ blame culture has to go.
Oh I so agree with this. I don’t often pop out my box to comment but the media / so called journalists are glamourising a destructive use of bullying and bad mouthing tactics. Are they really any help in this situation?

Some disconcerting news I am afraid.
It seems Andrew in Leeds has the virus. He has been ill a while now and last week called 111. They said to self isolate for 7 days, he is now on day 6/7. I told him to contact them again for an update.
He did today and they said you can have the symptoms (which he has) for a week or so and then appear to improve only for it to hit again which is where Andrew is right now. Mainly he is exhausted, with a sore throat so far he has not had any trouble with his breathing but I have told him if he does get the slightest glimmer of breathlessness to get straight back on to them.
Meanwhile I am ok - but worried.
He is young (28) and relatively fit but his immune system has been compromised for over a year now
I will keep you up to date

Don't know,don't care

I'm sticking to the rules, not going out , not taking the long way round because I have a nice car but I'm not buying anything to check myself or worrying about it.

I saw a guy who'd made face masks out of old clothes yesterday , I'm thinking if you can smell a fart through pants and Jeans that's muddled thinking :D

I love how you say you’re not taking a pop but this is so passive aggressive it’s almost shouting.

I take it the “long way around because I have a nice car” is another pop at my video. It’s not the long way around. It’s the quickest route.

I’ve also bought a blood pressure machine. Oh my, self diagnosis how irresponsible. Oh, wait. That was on the advice of the GP due to medication and them not being able to take it.

Perhaps you’d be better not projecting your situation into everyone else. We are all different, all live in different places, and have different circumstances.

Though if ever 2 people ever needed putting down here they are , empty roads , hopefully they've been stupid enough to upload the evidence needed to send them to prison

Exactly the kind of behaviour the govenment require to bring in compulsory mobile phone tracking .........well done guys , and not surprisingly typically audi driver behavior from some not so young boy racers

Do you have a link to the purchasing bit?

I spent 3 months in hospital as a child with severe bronchitis (thats what my parents said it was, although it seems a long time for a chest infection) and I'm convinced my lungs have never worked to what (I think, but then I'm no doctor) their full capacity should be.

Would be a useful bit of kit to have, especially with the amount of cycling I'm doing now.
