Guys, sorry to ask but I know this was mentioned earlier in the thread. Does anyone have a spare 50 or so n95 masks I can purchase? My mother in law is a nurse at a care home and has a few residents showing symptoms but not being tested. They are being stingy with the masks and with mil being early 60s with a scarred lung, I want her to feel as safe as possible doing what she does. Feel free to DM if anyone does have any spare, I'll be contacting care home management too, but don't want to go all guns blazing in case she losing her job for 'whistleblowing'.
The care home should be able to request PPE via the Local Resilience Forum. They should have a Multi Agency Support Team (MAST) inbox where they prioritise issue of kit.

I thought it was 1st April when I heard Trump on this......How the **** is he still talking.

It was jaw dropping to watch; you saw him looking at his advisors as the sloppy poo spewed from his mouth. The advisors where dumbfounded and aghast as they are hearing it, the best response any one of them could manage was ‘Sir we can look into it. “

He is a business man and that's worked well for their economy but that's where it stops. What a cock nostril.

Someone needs to call him out and say, “How fecking dumb are you” with everyone listening

Agreed, surely someone needs to tell him once and for all. Mr Trump......you are talking garbage.....please stop. Do you realise what you are saying or suggesting? It is complete nonsense dangerous and stupid. There are people out there as stupid as you are and they will listen to what you are telling them.

Imagine if someone actually did it and died. Now that in the US would be one heck of a litigation sh1tstorm!

Oh was I right? What a suprise. Ventilators were never an issue. Countless hours of intelligent peoples lives wasted and how much money ... when the frontline (especially care homes) are short of £1.78 life saving masks that are mass produced. It’s good news of course that the general public has in the main responded well to the lockdown and kept cases at a manageable level, but the general planning has been jaw dropping.
