Very fair and well considered; the guy is a tw4t. Always has been and always will be. A bit, sorry a lot, like Blair.

Whoa! From the Gaurdian as well?

What do you think their angle is with this? Demeaning the Tories or undermining Milliband?

Tough call.

Blimey. While I'd agree with the sentiment when applied to just about any politico, I'm surprised to see it in print!

Emotive stuff! Mind you we are talking about those nasty, horrid chemical weapons here, not all those other sorts of okay'ish weapons we export all over the world with impunity. Chemical weapon / blown apart by Shrapnel - same outcome.

Duplicitous bunch of Fuck£rs the lot of them.

Agree 100% - a death toll of between 80,000-100,000 (through horrendous mens) hasn't galvanised any serious action and this intervention is meant to dissuade further use of chemical weapons only? Why? So the number can steadily rise through other means... Definitely another agenda here.

I reckon it's the WMD legacy propagated by Blur and co. Artillery and small arms kill an awful lot more people around the world but they cant do anything about them. Governments are worried that a missile full of Sarin or sunshine might land on their doorsteps and want to squash it before it happens. The odd sociopath with an automatic in a shopping mall they can deal with on the spot.

Unless I've missed something the leap from neurotoxin to nerve agent appears to have happened more to try to get the correct media/public response than based on clear evidence.

If the Guardian website prints that, then I should be able to write Miliband is a "******* **** and a copper-bottomed ****" here.

....because he's the relatively high profile socialist d!ck being abused in a socialist rag. Agreed, there are many more as deserving but he is the subject of the OP.

Der, Der, Der, de, de, der.....der, der der.......

Once again, and holding steady at number five; a smash hit around the world, put your hands together for...

The automatic assault rifle.

At number four and increasingly the favourite for territorial control, let's give it up for (and then conveniently forget where we planted)...

The Land Mine.

Unrelenting progress to number three and the go to choice for all religious para-militaries, ...

The RPG.

In at number two with a bullet.....

The Bullet.

From nowhere, but the hottest ticket in town right now...

Chemical Weaponry.

It's interesting to rate the ways by which we've chosen to kill each other.
It's interesting that four of the top five have a very widespread established market for anyone with a military industry.
It's interesting that all our economic competitors have also figured this out.
It's interesting that just one of the top five is an economic non-starter - it's far too financially efficient.
It's interesting that this list is missing something.
It's interesting that the two prior statements relate to pretty much the only two weapons banned under international law.
It's interesting that, in spite of what you might read in the press, pretty much all armament industries around the world are state owned or controlled.
