Newton, don't beat yourself up! It's the long haul that matters. I think we should look at stuff from a week-to-week perspective and longer term. Daily can just get depressing, and I know I can fluctuate by 2kg+ in one day so have to look for overall trends.
I'm pleased that my cough/cold/throat has recovered enough to be commuting on the bike again. now I just need to use that as baseline noise and keep up the other workouts.
