My main beam headlights have stopped working, full beam is fine as are all the other lights. It has been suggested that the stalk unit is faulty so I have ordered a new one from Eurospares - anyone come across this fault before?

Went to Staplefield in Sussex this morning to catch the Veterans' run. As well as the 'old crocks' there are huge numbers of classic/exotic/etc cars out following the same route. Staplefield village green was heaving with MGs, Morgans, Rileys even a couple of old Bugattis, hundreds of cars...

Just returned from my 31k service at Mike Roberts - no problems at all apart from the clutch showing 96% wear!! It had been playing up and with the PIS point reading 5.2 it's definitely an accurate reading. Mike recommended Meridien Modena as doing a good job and being well priced at £2.5k...

About 10 seconds after I switch the ignition on 5 regular beeps come from the rear of the car - am I correct in assuming this is confirming F1 pump operating correctly or is there a darker side to the beeps!?

Found this in the 'well' which takes the bonnet hinge. Black plastic, very light, cannot see anything obvious that it has come off. Obviously not critical to the smooth running of the GS but.......... would be very impressed if someone can identify what it is!

These have only been used for a couple of weeks until my GS impulse buy! They were fabricated for my 2003 4200 and sounded awesome. On offer for £250 plus postage if needed - they are only light so won't cost much for delivery if you cannot pick them up.

Before I put these on ebay - anyone interested at £650? The wheels are in perfect condition with no marks or damage. The front tyres are worn on the inside but rest of tread ok, one of the rears is virtually new with the other having a reasonable amount of tread on. Michelin Pilots 18s...

Just realised that there is a SD card slot in the GS Becker unit - is it a straightforward operation ie. plays mp3/4 music or other files types, will it read a SDHC too?
