I have a spare ticket (free) for the Top Gear Live show this Thursday at the Excel Centre. 2 were given to my brother by the Top Gear Live team as he provides cars for the show, but he is now unable to go. As it's ver short notice my usual cronies are unable to go so rather than see it go to waste if you are interested let me know. Info below - just need to meet me at 5.30pm at the box office. Ticket covers exhibition plus the 6pm track show and the 7.30pm arena show.

Paul

First one I've seen so couldn't tell you about difference. Before the actual show we had tickets for the indoor track show which was presented by Tiff Needel. That was good with various 'events' going on, straight line racing, star in a reasonably priced car, Sabine chasing other cars, drifting, a karting event with Hammond, Clarke, Hunt, Palmer, etc (unfortunately other family members) and some great rally cars from the past. Lasted about 80 minutes.

The TG show was in a different hall and revolved around an 'alternative' olympics, this included a beauty parade (stretching the olympics idea slightly!) with some stunning exotica on display, the chariot racing was fun as was the curling event which was too complicated to explain! The City Rover that was crushed had been driven by one of the team who had squashed the least number of remote controlled mice that they chased. Show lasted about 90 minutes, if I had paid our tickets would have been £75.

I think it is silly money, been twice now and i dont think i will bother again, the classic car show at the NEC is on at the same time and that is a good event. For how much it costs to go to the London show, you may as well have a day out in London and seeing real supercars such as Zonda's, Veyron's etc......

Pistonheads/Autosport in January, will probably go along to that one.
