I thought something was going on, it's not like you to slow down King P. I will not try too hard until you get back, I will be going up to Scotland Tomoz, so Andy will probably knock us both for 6. Have a great time in Belgium, bringing back chocolate???

Thinking about that, due to possible weather I might go up in the Jag, it's supposed to be quite windy and fast!!

After some painting.... i am not much satisfied with the result, and i am expecting an email of what's to be done to look a bit nicer.

Update:Had my plates back yesterday, so i went to the workshop to install the Formula Dynamics Stainless Steel brake lines.

Well, all i can say is that i didn't expect this improvement by them:Brake feel has become more polite, more soft, and the pedal gives you information about the braking process.

I think that every 3200/4200/GS owner has the worst feedback for those brakes, but this time i think something is different, without big cost.

More feedback to follow, as i had some trouble with the brakes in the afternoon, and i need to replace the fluid again, cause there must be some debris inside, that made the rear right caliper bite the disc all the time, even when pedal released.Happened twice, went bak to the workshop, and it seemed to get fixed, but i'll replace fluid again to be 100% sure.

Now to the emotional part:I drove her after five months, and after all the work i did in winter, what i have to say is that she's back more beautiful, and the front grille refurbishment put some more beauty on!

Nikos, that's interesting, I might just have a go at replacing ours, but the brakes on ours feel really good. Let us know how you proceed and hopefully we still might get to see her at MC, with lots, of luck.

If they are, then ours are good I would say. I am assuming it depends on the pads to a certain degree? Did you get brake fade or something when pushing?

I had limited braking after reapeating braking, so i tried other pads, other dics, which improved performance by 10%.Now with the brake lines, it seems a better improvement, but i need some more time to have them tested.

Nikos, sounds like you have binding pads.

Make sure the pads drop into the caliper and the guides are clean and us a small amount of copper grease.

File the sides of the pads to make them fit if required.

TBH, I've never been overly impressed with Brembo brakes, they always seem to be a bit wooden in feel. When worked hard they can fade quite badly and when they do they go black and smoke like a beagle. They were the same on my Evo V. The brakes on my BM are a lot better.
