I bought a house! It was a bag of cr@p when I bought it and it still is. It's affectionately known as Rubble Cottage. It was the first house me and Mrs Tee bought together a dozen years ago. It ain't finished now and it won't be finished any time soon, but it's home, it's home to my daughter, it's home to my son and it's home to Mrs Tee's new handbag dog (little flocker hates me!) but it's where we retreat every day when the world is just a little bit too loud and I adore it. Money isn't everything. Sometimes it's more than enough to expend your time, effort and money on something that just makes you feel better irrespective of its monetary value.

I sincerely hope this beautiful car finds its way to someone that will appreciate it for what it could be, rather than what it is or what it might be worth.

Absolutely right Miles!
and I think the car is going to turn into something lovely as well...I do hope so.

I would think the restoration would be a cake walk in compared to putting up with our warped sense of humour

if you look at eurospares breaking section there are a couple of projects but there are also cars there that seem absolutely fine with no reason to scrap!
