Looked like a crankcase breather to me C... I thought they did a splendid job of bringing it back to life; Mike's usual trick is to get in a raggedy old motor and wring it's neck till it blows up on the way home (as with the Fiat 500 and many more).

Some nice metal work in Parc Ferme wasn't there :)

Ahh, that makes sense. Lovely metal, plastic and carbon fiber :) Wonder if Maserati's centenary will be like that :)

£3,000 to recover it to the UK... Think I could do that job...far more fun than commuting into London every day

Guys I have it on good authority that there is currently a Maserati 3200 episode being filmed!!!!

Its an entertainment show, not to be taken seriously, they'd loose money on nearly every car if it was a business, plus they gloss over lots and don't explain why they did X Y and Z

Interesting to see how much they loose of doing up a 3200.....;)

Well apparently Ed knows nothing about mechanics and he is simply a presenter getting his hands dirty. Hard to believe I know

If they put another Maserati back on the road all the better and it should suit 3200 owners who are looking to sell.

Just hope their filming is well informed which surprises me that they javelin not been in touch with tube forum or our speciality independent garages...unless sworn to secrecy

They have been in touch and apparently a mint AC has been provided for filming the "mint example" opening scene that they always start with!

Don't care if he knows lots about cars....If he doesn't he does a good job of hiding it...I like the show a lot.

Agreed it's entertaining and Ed does come over as being a very knowledgable and capable mechanic who does not cut any corners. I am really looking forward to seeing this episode with the 3200.
