If anyone is going to the classic show at the NEC in mid Nov, Mike and Edd are there with their live show.

Saw it last year. Enjoyed it.

Firstly, congratulations Contigo!
Secondly, on the topic of cars on tv, I came across a programme called Megafactories recently which was on National Geographic channel and featured the Maserati factory. An hour long tour of the Grancabrio build process with the GT and QP also getting a mention. If I see it repeated I'll post the time and date, well worth a look.
Sure there has been/ will be a Lamborghini show too as is the Lamborghini section.

Thanks.

Yes I saw the Audi, Lambo and Porsche megafactories all of which we amazing when you consider the detail of production processes etc, especially the Lamborghini paint process.
I will hunt down the Maserati one thanks.

Watching the Ford Pop epsiode. If Edd doesn't knwo what he's doing, he's certainly giving a really good impression of it.

I know exactly what I thought when someone told me he was first and foremost a presenter and not mechanically minded. He certainly comes over as being very handy with a spanner and any other tool even some of the rarer specialist equipment which they hire in!

So who spotted the Maser outside the paint shop where they got the Pop done??!!

So they spent £18.5K on it...got £23K and Edd sent in another bill for £10k in labour!!!!

There were two. You must have read my mind as I took this picture when Ed was outside the custom paint shop. GT on the left and Spyder on the right. The number plate on the GT is pretty classy "SNO8 EKY" or SNOBERY :D

I'm liking the Escort Mk1 in the screen shot. That will be worth a bomb these days.

Just had a snout round Autotrader. The rumours are true - decent Mexicos going for just shy of £20k. MkIs around £12k. Amazing!

Can't imagine my old MkII being worth much now. It wasn't worth much when I sold it twenty-something years ago.

Used to have an escort, first car I got over 100mph, yes that's before we had this stupid speed limit and when the limit was unrestricted, it was a good car for it's era..!!

It doesn't seem to matter Frank. The Wheeler Dealers did one a little while ago; it was a dark brown 1300 with a 1600 engine and had been used as a field car to teach the lad to drive and they paid IIRC, about 5k. They put Mexico wings on it, a front disc conversion, new interior and sprayed it yellow. They sold it for, IIRC, £11700. Non original in every way but still sold at a premium. That's what's happening to old Escorts.
