Starting early tonight with a young vegan from Valencia. Would go well with steak and chips, but I don’t think that’s on the menu. Hope I stay awake for music club at 9pm...

Got builders in the garage atm and they’re back early tomorrow morning so staying off the booze tonight I think. Might very well crack open a btl of Blanton’s Bourbon tomorrow though to make up for it.. if anyone here likes their Bourbon, Blanton‘s is the dogs b0ll0cks! (Note the alcohol % on the left hand btl which is ‘straight from the barrel’

Very dull. When I was a student I used to play video games (machines) with a very dear friend. High score tables were limited to 3 initials due to RAM cost. His initials were GPH so he changed them to GBH. My initials are CJM but I love cats, so thought CAT would be cool.
Then RAM costs dropped, 6 characters needed filling. I went for Catman.
Used it as my logon for my first IT job at Claranet. Then when I really hit my career there were three Chrises in senior IT positions so we all had to work on nicknames.
Chris was the first.
Sonic was our firewall expert (source, port, destination)
Catman was the NOC manager.
Still love cats. Named my Kung Fu school after a cat. Always will
