What you drinking now?

Late to the conversation but until mid 17th century only pros**tutes drank champagne....

Even later to the conversation.
Until the 1950's. Only Convicts, slaves and those who were too poor to buy protein any other way, ate lobster.
Because it was abundant. Prices rose with demand. To where we are today.
Where is the line. Where food stops being nutritious, tasty and enjoyable. And becomes pretentious?

Stocked up with champagne & wine, should be ok for the next three weeks :0037:
Hence about 3 bottles a day! I was in Switzerland, there in the restaurant of the hotel you get some wine in the bottom of a large tasting glass for £10, just enough to put in your lips twice. This is ridiculous and not my way of drinking wine so I have preferred good tap water (Alps mountain).

According to Forbes magazine, this is the biggest selling pink wine in the USA (in dollar terms), due to its popularity at Weddings. Nice, but needs the £4 off its usual price to represent value.

It does Ewan….£16 in M&S at the moment.
