If I can keep my car then it has to still be the GS - driving smile every time, until the new GS is released. if not I miss my S4 so maybe back to Audi but RS4. if were talking no money retrictions then its has to be the Ferrari 458 or a big surprise even to me is the awesome Elemento

I always fancied obscure stuff. A Monteverdi Hai was and still is, my fantasy car. I'd keep the AC , add a Bora, and maybe have a Cheetah for the hooligan in me! lol

Bristol Fighter...oh yes...in the dream garage, a bit like the Alfa SZ, you either love it or hate it. (I also like the SZ!)

Would you believe it, a Bristol Fighter passed me today only a few miles from home!
Unless it is locally owned, will most likely never see one on the road again, so rare.

Not sure what model it is - I will post a picture, but there is a Bristol (something or other) parked in the street (Albemarle St London W1) most days, looks like it needs a bit of tlc

Loads of desirables already mentioned so won't repeat but I would add a De Tomaso to the list. I know they're probably cr@p and you're bubble would burst as soon as you got behind the wheel of one but the sight of a Pantera always makes me go googly inside. I also like 2+2's like the Longchamp and the Maserati equivalent in the Kyalami. I know, I'm a strange one.

Catman, seeing as you mentioned Testarossa in your list, you are welcome to take a closer look around mine at a forthcoming meet and, if you are prepared to risk having your bubble burst, I'll take you for a spin. Not saying it necessarily will burst you understand (who knows, you might be forever devoted!) but like the Countach there's a heavy risk! ;)

oh yeah, and for that money no object scenario, genie fetch me an F40 in impeccable condition please.

Dhanjit,
I always used to almost wet myself over DeTomaso Panterra's, they were so radically styled for the era and looked really menacing, lovely car..!!

Yeah, I guess you probably have to be Jackie Stewart and live in Switzerland in order to look cool in one but what the heck, we'll give it a go! ;)

Oh *yes* please, sir! ;)

It's a risk I'm willing to take.

No worries - I am sure we can make it happen. I guess the next meet won't be for a while so I may forget all about this but I am sure I can rely on you to remind me ;)

Hey hey Hey Dhanj...I thought there was a Waiting List for a drive in the Testarossa, and I was hoping to be nearer the top of it!

Give me
1. 1987 V8 Vantage (closed grille) - You still get out of their way on the motorway out of respect....
2. Ferrari F50 - I know that is controversial but I prefer it to the F40...
3. Type 35 Buggati just for a day on a track... Then leave me with a Veyron!!!!

I shall take my place in the queue. Then I shall use skills and violence to get to the front :)

Great thread, my list like many so far changes daily, I have been lucky soo far to own a few already.

Ferrari 308 GTS, didn't burst my bubble it was my no1 dream car I have always dreamt of owning, yes it was big heavy and slow compared to our Elise but it was beutiful, I still wish I'd kept her, but I decided if I wanted to tick more on my list I had to sell.
Lotus Elise was another which I managed to own and still do, will never sell its still the best around sports car I have ever driven.
Maserati 3200/4200 now ticked!! Well the 4200 still like to try the twin turbo on the 3200.

As for what's next,
I would like an air cooled 911 we had a 996 a while back which was lovely but would like to try a "proper" one! I like the 993 turbo but they have now got to silly money.
Wife would like the Grantourismo she has made me promise I will get her one for her 40th so I have a few years to hope for some serious depreciation!!

I'd have another Ferrari, but nothing newer than a 308/328 I do not like the new ones very fat and American. Dream would be the 288 GTO

Any Lamborghini I'm not fussy!! But only to tick a box, I've never been a massive fan the exception being the miura which I would have and keep and sleep in look at 24 hours a day!!

Dream garage would have to include an original mini cooper, and a Mint 205 GTi both cars I have owned and loved would like perfect examples of both.

Anyway I could probably think of another fifty but I need to get ready for work!!!
