I just collected my 6 year old grandson and he announced (I in no way condone this) he had won £90 on last nights game! He had (someone on his behalf) put £6 (as he is six) on England to win 4:0. Apparently when it got to 4:0 they had texted offering if he took it straight away the’d give him £30 but he held out!

We can't condone under age betting, but anyone who takes a few quid off the bookies is good with me - well done

Yep; a touch of the Irish in him, so we’ll need to keep it in check or he’ll be addicted in no time!

Laying bets at 6 o_O

I blame the internet , it'll be coke and hookers soon if he carries on with that winning streak

I've done a lot of things in my life, some very naughty but I've never laid a bet! No interest in it.

I have zero interest in the sports, but having invested £60 last October in a betting tip group, I currently have an account at over £540......

The best bit is having zero interest. It's just about the money so no emotional attachment.

Me too wouldn't have a clue how to place a bet but that sounds a good crack Chris and guess it's easy to get your cash when you need to fuel the Bentley up.

First rule of betting. Never bet on your own team. Too emotional.

That said, I won 65 quid on the Denmark vs Czech Republic game! :rofl5:

From what I read about it the massive electric bill and the £££ computers cancels out most of the profits

We have a huge number of PV/Wind projects we are looking for financing for in Texas. Apparently Texas is becoming the new US hub for Crypto miners.
The first 400MW to be developed already has 4 Crypto miners offering to buy the power generated.

Put it this way, it's not a very 'green' way of making money!

In Iceland there are DC's powered by geysers apparently....

I was surprised Phil at no new posts on this thread, A few hangovers or just a state of shock?

I'm no football expertise but critics saying it wasn't the best game played ?
Certainly wasn't being watched in the bars here in La Rochelle last night.
