Did they give you a producer Ian .......................or do they even do that any more

No Horti 1s these days mate, it’s all on computer. He knew everything was in order before he put the lights on.

I did an indicated 140 on the M6 northbound about 1998, straight bit after the Shap/Tebay bit to Penrith in my Alfa 164 3.0 Lusso auto. 1:30am, not a car to be seen, didn't get caught.

My inspiration to do it came from the matrix signs over Shap, recommending 90 mph, which was either a glitch or the guy who controls them having a laugh....

Did nearly 200 km/h on the Autobahn, but the missus was driving and I was shiitting myself..

You could be lucky, a friend of mine got pulled over on the M1 passing an unmarked police car at 120 mph in his new to him 911.
Officer had him in the back seat, saying to him they would be hearing from them in due course...
Friend panicked, and phoned the Porsche dealer to collect the car, resulting in a £6k loss in a month of ownership. His reasoning being in court he could say he had sold the Porsche and hopefully retain his driving licence, which he needs being a sole trader.
He kept this quiet for about a month to himself, and when he told me about it, and him selling the Porsche back to the dealer, and not hearing anything from the police, a few questions highlighted that the police officer actually had no recorded evidence, and didn't even ask him for his name, or ID. The police officer just scared him!

I've been bleesed and never been done, except in Germany. Not for the want of trying. I had a ZX9-R in the late 90's, that four lane bit of the A1M (Alconbury's?) on a Sunday evening was quiet...and fast. Maxed my ZX6-R on the Autobahns In Germany, say 150mph?
I've only ever been done once, by a roadside mobile speed camera going to the SM Xmas do of all things! Oh and I've got stopped by a copper for doing 'Obsecene Speeds' joining the A3 at Ripley, it was 5am and I think he was knocking off. Slap on the wrists. Lucky.

‘Someone I know’ sees you’re indicated 140mph in a 164 3.0 lusso, and raises it to an indicated 148mph, also in the late 90’s, also in an 164 3.0 lusso, an early 12v one.
This was also late at night, but on the M66 southbound. Maybe it had the edge due to being a manual! Great car.

I had a 'moment' on a wonderful road in Germany's Black Forest - the max speed sign for the glorious sweeping bend said '90' - I was disappointed to bottle out at '85' - and then remembered it was km/hr and I was doing mph - fortunately no cops around.

Well I can proudly say I have exercised everything I have ever had to the max.
On track in competition and on the Queen's highways.
Got a 2 week suspension of my licence and a £600 fine but no points in 94.
BMW 528i doing 113 MPH on the M5 late at night.
In court I was made to feel like a kiddy fiddler.
