Drifters speciall Adam, you can do an awfull lot to them it's true as the Japanise modding scene was flooded with upgrades that have made it to the states and Europe.

However Toyotas will drain your wallet when they're leggy as they don't like to sell spares to keep them going they'd rather you bought a new car! In-laws got stung £2k to replace 2nd gear in a Corolla..... Just 3 years & 4 months old & they wouldn't entertain a warranty claim!

Yep, however you could spend 10k on one and it would be quicker than pretty much anything, 800bhp is not uncommon on these.

Very true, a guy at Tae Kwon Do has a Yaris 1.3 SR and a mark 1 MR2, done 130k and it needs a good 1.5k spending on it.

If i want a Toyota drift car it has to be this.

Honda are good, have made some very good cars over the years but as they say about Vtec engines, all the lag and none of the boost.

I like my Volvo C70 soft top. 2.5 Turbo and so cheep compared to a BMW or MB...good in snow to!

Had a toyota Yigo last week as a rental car...not sure if it had 2 of 3 cilinders as it sounded like a sewing machine, wings and door like tin foil...did not use much fuel though.

Volvo, that takes me back Adam.

I think it was late nineties, and I was forever ribbing one of the guys who worked with us that he drove round in a hurst, then he had enough and said "get in" and I had to eat humble pie for the rest of the month.

The thing was astonishing, I think the mix of power and weight give an impression of immense power.

It looks like a house brick, but since then have always had a soft spot.

Volvo = drabness.......hoping there aren't any Swedes on the forum and I am lumping them in with Danes ( as per THE KILLING)

These views are not necessarily held by myself....just by my fingertips.....;)
