Don't come crying to me for sympathy! I've got to drive to Boston tomorrow, then teaching on Sunday. Monday I have to go and buy some clothes for Mexico.
Sombreros. Sorted.
Morning, all. Off for a spin in the loaner-Vantage today. It's this one. Dripping in carbon.
Yeah, I feel the same. And how many carbon atoms gave their lives! It's nice. But doesn't really have the wow factor for me. Not in the white anyway.
Whereas your V12 S looks awesome in white.
Go figure!

Oh mateMorning all.
After a day off yesterday spending time with my parents and taking them out for lunch with Alex and Joseph, I have realised a few things, especially as my dad has Vascular dementia, and Alzheimers and yesterday was the first time I've started to notice his deterioration.
On the subject of horrible things today I will be doing my VAT return, and will not actually mind (too much) doing it, as there are much more important things in life to worry about.
- Our parents (especially our dads) are not invincible as we once thought.
- I've not spent as much time with them as I should have over the years. Something I will definitely rectify.
- I need to do more for my parents, especially as my mum as she is becoming a full time carer for my dad.
- We're not getting any younger and we won't actually live forever.
- Dementia is a horrible horrible disease.
My friendly local Aston dealer has just delivered a new loaner Vantage, the one with the 4l AMG engine. First impressions are positive. It makes a good noise. I could be tempted by the roadster when a) it's been launched, and b) has depreciated.
