Morning, a long weekend you say Chris...of decorating for me.

Don't come crying to me for sympathy! I've got to drive to Boston tomorrow, then teaching on Sunday. Monday I have to go and buy some clothes for Mexico.

Madness I know!

I’m sure Mexico has clothes already Chris?

Just woken up! Must have been tired then!

Morning all, local many tasks to do especially as I didn’t get to do any of the jobs yesterday.

Have fun all...

Morning all.

After a day off yesterday spending time with my parents and taking them out for lunch with Alex and Joseph, I have realised a few things, especially as my dad has Vascular dementia, and Alzheimers and yesterday was the first time I've started to notice his deterioration. :(

  1. Our parents (especially our dads) are not invincible as we once thought.
  2. I've not spent as much time with them as I should have over the years. Something I will definitely rectify.
  3. I need to do more for my parents, especially as my mum as she is becoming a full time carer for my dad.
  4. We're not getting any younger and we won't actually live forever.
  5. Dementia is a horrible horrible disease.

On the subject of horrible things today I will be doing my VAT return, and will not actually mind (too much) doing it, as there are much more important things in life to worry about.

It's nice. But doesn't really have the wow factor for me. Not in the white anyway.
Whereas your V12 S looks awesome in white.

Go figure!

Oddly enough, my wife thinks it's ugly and 'my' car (never 'ours'...) is much nicer. She also thinks this one doesn't sound as good.

However, a convertible version will be launched this year or next and that might well tempt me.

What does grate, though, is that whilst the car is mechanically superb and handles like a dream, the infotech is shite. A new model will need that updated.

My friendly local Aston dealer has just delivered a new loaner Vantage, the one with the 4l AMG engine. First impressions are positive. It makes a good noise. I could be tempted by the roadster when a) it's been launched, and b) has depreciated.

For me the new Vantage looks much better in the flesh than pictures. Can be colour destined though and the lighter colours needs the rear valance option if colour coding and also al should have the four pipe sports exhaust as it sounds much better. White looks great with the accent pack in red but not many go for the accent pack....It's a very muscular looking car and the front will always devide. You can now order an aero pack as well which was on the heritage editions at Goodwood and I though this looked great in the car. Not a rear wing fan but it worked. I have been wondering when the roadster will be released. Of for Dick Lovett today as Alex (maybe me a little but to) wants to have a look at their kermit green GT12....

Hello you lot!
I need to try washing a car ot two today. The Maser is filthy from a wet weekend at Silverstone Classic but I've been unable to wash it. However, this weekend just shouts convertible and noisy!
HapPea Saturday!
