Morning all, Deloittes don't change want to charge a fortune but get us to do all the work.

On the plus side it was sunny and warm and Dublin always has a great vibe and is a lovely place just to walk around and enjoy the sites ;)

Today back home but only 2.5 days before a BH weekend and then Le Mans

Morning. Bloody cold yesterday, and drizzly today.
You're right. Where the bloody **** did summer go? It was shaping up ok. Yesterday was London, mostly because working at home all the time really is soul-destroying and I needed lunch and a pint with a colleague to see another human who isn't glowering through a screen. Which is mostly what today holds in store. That and the drizzle. On the upside, it's a short week with many colleagues on holiday.

Ain't that the truth! I had a review of our monthly off sites last month with my team. Unanimous vote to maintain them. When I mentioned them in a management training course last week, all the other managers were 'Tell us about these off sites you have?!' Which was nice.
Nothing in town this week but at least I get to see the dentist today :lol2:

I've had off-sites in Rome and Lake Como. When the rest of the management team (I was wise enough to include the MD) got wind of them they decided that I'm a *****. Fair enough. Moral: always include the gaffa if you're going somewhere that would annoy the people who don't go.

Leeds and 8 in London are not likely to fall into that category :D

Good morning everyone, quick tidy up of the house as I've got a viewing at noon. Taking the GT into work as well, don't want to give them a false impression... ;)

Job done Loz. My mate uses it as his everyday car and I don’t think he has cleaned it in the two years he has had it. Told him I was horrified the state of it. Mud on the seats and the yellow backed seats had all sorts of scratched on them. The engine bay was just brown and you couldn’t see the yellow paint in there but not any more. She has come up a treat with a bit of TLC. Told him it was a birthday present from me as it was his birthday Friday.

I do like seeing it all come together.

Morning, all...the voyage continues, with student protests now part of the cruise activities. They actually got a news helicopter in the air to cover roughly 70 students forming a human chain as a statement against change. Context is key: on this one site there are three schools with more than 5000 students...

Anyway, work from work and then seafood for dinner...fresh coastal shrimp and crawfish.

Having a few parts of the leather corrected in a couple of weeks , its virtual perfection inside bar a few panels which got wet/hence stained whilst the beastie was residing in a copart yard not under cover, obviously a few protentional lookers had tried the roof and windows and drained the batteries and left the windows part down and the roof not fully engaged , guy im taking it to seems very confident it will be as good as new , this one is the V8S 4 litre GTC so not quiet as juicy as the V12 and a few miles short on top end ................but for me truly a Bebs ceegar wagon with the roof down on a sunny day

Some say the V8 is the better car Loz. You should take some before and after pics as would love to see the difference.
