Morning all, Pop’s day care day so no rest for me. Bambi burgers were a real hit last evening, all partaking reckoned they were the best they had ever had. Not bad for a first effort then. I will be doing them again.

Ordered all the bits for the Suzuki too.

Have fun all…

Early start as I headed for Chester and the Wirral today.
Sun is shining so quite nice to be out and about.

Morning, all...clear(er) and cool(ish) this first day of June. Driving the Coupe instead of the truck, at last. Work from work...hope all are well enough and/or improving...

If you're working from home I hope you have someone there to shout at you and complain a lot.

Morning, filthy rabble. Had the olds around last night for fish and chips and some good old-fashioned Dail Mail banter ('ooooh, that Philip Schofield, and the wallaby woman's no better, of course they knew, ooooh, have you seen the state of the roads', etc). It's like on here on a bad day. I've made a request that the day I start believing what I read in the newspaper is the day I need to be packed off to Dignitas, expedited cattle-class.

Today, work, a trip to the dump ('you need an appointment!, well, it shouldn't be allowed, it just encourages fly-tipping, well, we voted for them...') then hoping to wash the filth off the Vantage and do some getting ready for Le Mans. Tonight a BBQ and then off to the pub to see a bloody good pub band.

Time to go to the nunnery Adam?

Totally get it, MIL around on Tuesday evening, perfect example of the lacking filters; Sally let her know she was pregnant, the response was not "Congratulations!" as you would expect, oh no "I thought you looked bloated!!!"

My mother in law is a real peach. To the extent where we, mercifully, have zero contact...which was initiated by Courtney with zero input or awareness on my behalf. But I do reap the bennies.

Happy Friday, all; last meeting of the day is a zoom with one of the school communities. Two work-related functions on Saturday to look forward to, as well...

Good morning all. Another adventure today. Liz and I are off to London for the night. Staying in the central London a bit of sight seeing, meal and wine then off to the O2 to see Peter Kay tonight which was our Christmas present from our two thoughtful boys. Or a case if they wanted us out the way for a wild party. Either way it all should be a fun weekend.
