Morning all, up early than planned with an iPad that Jamie has some ho got a passcode set on, back to factory reset and hopefully we can get it working again.

Other than that its time in the garden, a bit of bush trimming, driving around on the little tractor, wash a car or two and maybe the odd cool beer

Morning all, getting real now as showed someone the listing of the cottage last evening and it now shows as ‘sold STC’!

I have got the weekend off so I’m going to work on Jeanette’s motorbike and get it MOT ready. Starting with the valve shims and then replacing the fork seals and oil. Will also change the brake fluid so I know it is done.

Have fun all…

Good morning and, well...yeah, bush trimming is something else for the "Differences" thread, apparently.

Three day weekend but still have work-work to do associated with the boundary thing. And so much to do around here but it's supposed to rain the entire time. In last night's news, I have been working away on the Spyder because I had always intended it to be for Courtney; she didn't know that, and she hasn't driven a manual since her teens. That changed yesterday evening...!

Also, get well soon @Andyk

Well 7/8 shims were totally out of limits! Seems someone just stuffed any they could find in there. I can relocate two to get three valves in range. Will buy some more as needed but first ill raid the original bike and see what that has to offer

Several seized bolts getting this far and also found the tacho drive bracket broken. Tacho drive also seized in the cover but somehow had been working?

Anyway, seems my suspicions about the no cold start are fully founded on the valves being held open! The spark plugs confirm it as only the one in range was clean and all the others progressively worse as they were out of range!

Do love a well kept bush Mr C.

From the other posts, I think there will be a preponderance of trimmed bush. I have to say, though, that my trimming was functional rather than aesthetic. It was carried out to prevent eye damage, particularly to toddlers or those in prams........

A very good sunny morning to all. Relaxing today to get rid of this sore throat before my London trip tomorrow. F1 later and hope Alonso can get the jump on Max at the start.

I was due to be away for a few days in the Cotswolds with some buddies from the Mustang forum, the weekend started amazingly with 40 cars gathered a visit to the classic motor hub and then yesterday, we all headed over of a tour of the morgan factory.

For me it ended there, as I received sad news that a good and longstanding friend had died suddenly leaving a wife and two young children, it really took the wind out of me. I knew that I would not be great company for the remainder of the trip, so bailed out and came home. As many of you know, I am well placed to support the family on the practical side of what happens next and am honoured to help.

So sad for his family but a reminder to us all that life is precious and is for living, we will be remembered for being the person we were, not the person we could have been, and for the things we did, not the things we could have done.

Live life to the full, but look after it.

Sad to hear that, that old cloaked figure can visit any of us at any time. Never waste a minute or an erection!

Morning trimmed half the bush yesterday so will need to do the other half today but at least it looks a bit cooler than yesterday.

I might find time to squeeze the GP and some cold beers in to

Good morning, all...easing into things. Missed the race but not sure I missed it. Rain continues, so indoor sports I guess. @Scaf so sorry to hear of your loss, but your words ring true and I continue to be amazed & humbled by your generous spirit. Everyone else, careful with the bush trimmers.

Good morning all. Off to London today with my eldest. A bit of sight seeing and then to Bush Hall later to see the band The Warning. Excited although I am still struggling to shift this sore throat.
