Morning all, home alone with 2 children and the dogs until Wednesday - Mrs Z and middle daughter off to the UK to catch up with some friends.

Worryingly I'm left in charge of the finances too :)

Good morning all, coffee and a few errands and then off for a bike ride through the countryside.

Am on a bit of a weight loss / improve fitness thing at the moment, as I am fast approaching 60 years old, desperately unfit and a good 2 stone overweight.

So little bit less of everything in terms of food and drink, a lot more walking and now back on my bike.
Managed to lose half a stone so far, not so that anyone would notice, but I have to say, it’s good for the soul.

Make the most of your days guys and girls.

Morning peeps, well just about , seem to be having plenty of lay ins these days , finally surfaced after a long winter of hibernation ... time to get the automotive steeds out of the garage and readied for the spring/summer ,

This!

Morning. Lunch at Bibendum with Mrs C as an early Valentine's

Slightly tinged by the sad occasion of her uncle's death last night.

Have a great day, all

Holy heck...the stuff that happens while I'm asleep!!! Tis Saturday, and another workday. Waiting on snow/rain mix...was 70 degrees F yesterday and will be 40 degrees F tomorrow...actually have a zoom at 19:00.

So much to cover. If the good ones get taken first, Adam and I will be the last people on this forum.

Chris, so sorry about your family's loss

Phil, so sorry about your loss of insulation. I will continue to be the long-haired degenerate that I am. On the plus side, you will now look the same right side up as upside down

@zagatoes30 ...sounds like time to buy a new car

@Scaf ...just stop drinking for a month or two more. I literally shed about 15 lbs when I went cold-turkey in 2018, and haven't gained it back...

Enjoy the circus, all, and happy pre-V day to all you bargain shoppers!

Is it the one with the nice workshop ?
Fingers crossed and Good Luck.

Yes mate, total floor area of the garages/workshops about the same as yours but roof from 8-12 feet eves to apex so no room for post lifts in present format. There is a pit though.

Feelings are that although it ticks many boxes and is immediately beside crown land parkland etc. It doesn’t warrant the price by about £50k. We have just got back from touring the Dengie peninsula and as far around as Heybridge, where we had a rather splendid lunch.

Have looked at rather a lot of places and our heads are aching trying to establish what we actually want to do.

Nice part of the planet, Newton. Good luck!
