Morning, funsters. Well, morningish. Off to the airfield for a quick visit to Germany for an off-site blah blah. I shall make sure the pilots are warming the keys and cooling the fizz.

Good wet, cold, miserable, nasty Sunday. Still in recovery mode...was supposed to attend an alpaca show and a funeral today, but don't think I will be leaving the house. This week is gonna be another marathon, so will be grateful for the calm ahead of the storm. Slept til 08:30, did the morning sit, and getting ready to read the paper...

@2b1ask1 40 years since your first date??? Wow wow wow wow. Guess if I live to 86 (and don't get divorced again), I'll be able to celebrate the same...Congrats!

...happen to know an alpaca rancher who has her disappointing animals sent to the abattoir. I hear they are good eating, but just not my speed...!

Well, they all smell lovely...

There's this whole subculture around show animals that I don't/won't/can't understand. And some folk take that verrrrry seriously. So much so, that if an animal doesn't rank highly enough, they will sell or discard them. I never worry about how cute my livestock are...

Morning all, big job on this week repairing two 12m long embankment slides! They date back to 1970’s and are irreplaceable. Legs have rusted out and need replacing. In Maida Vale. Have had to organise parking suspensions for the week, you can imagine how much this pains Westminster council to do!
