Morning early birds and night owl over the pond.
Minus 8 here and taking down the mobile workshop and packing it up for my colleague to tow it back to Yorkshire.
Me I'm flying back to Paris tomorrow and can't wait.
Have a Great Hump Day all.

Morning all.

As I head into London for meetings and a business lunch, I will be thinking of the poor souls in Turkey and counting my blessings.

Some of the scenes on the TV coverage are truly shocking and deaths expected to pass 20,000.
Watching the news I can see a collapsed apartment building reduced to a 40 foot pile of rubble and people with picks and shovels trying to dig out survivors.

We will do our bit, responding to official appeals and donating to one of the recognised charities that will be helping.

Spare a thought for all those affected.

Morning all. Just dropped kiddos. My 7:15 call got rescheduled at 7:13. Wondering if I can sneak back to bed for a snooze at some point this morning. Gonna be 70 degrees F today...dare I drive the Spyder?

Hope you are all safely over the hump. Root out that fraud...staples and paper clips are expensive these days!

Sad indeed; I have a row of shops adjacent to my present abode, I get on really well with all of the shop keepers and a number of them are Turkish; I spoke to the cafe owner today and enquired if his family are ok, he has parents and several of his 8 brothers living out there. He said they were mostly in a house in the city when the first quake hit and it was damaged but they all got out ok, they made for a countyside house and were all there when the second big one hit 7 hours later! miraculously, they were all outside at the time as it was completely flattened!!! Sadly the next shop is the barbers and the lad that runs it has lost a sister for sure and cannot get hold of several members of his family, presumed to be lost at this point!

Hello everyone!
First day back on the morning HIIT sessions and it wasn't horrific. Both of us have done well to not put on weight on the honeymoon, but I guess we were getting good exercise there. Now to work on being ski fit for next month.
500 email backlog cleared so it'll be hitting that resulting to-do list.
HapPea Thursday! xXx
