Balmy here...rain and warm. So nothing too outdoorsy; the tractor would tear ruts everywhere I need it to go. But lawd knows I could use some time out of doors, if only for the sake of whatever remains of my sanity.

The 12 and 8 YO have been granted control of the holiday decorating, which means that every strand of lights we had are strung in their rooms...

Good morning all. Today is Alex’s last Karting of the championship. They have two championships a year which consist of 10 races in each. They then take your best 5 races of the season towards the championship as not everyone will do all 10. This is Alex’s first year of Karting and in the first championship he came 50 out of 60 and in this one he is currently Sitting at 27th out of 60 so good progress. His best friend from school is at 26th with one point in it so this is his goal today which has turned into friendly rivalry. I am very proud of his progress and how his skill has improved over the year. Next years aim to be in the top 20.
