Can u outline further Fc…..Have u had some work done recently ticker wise?
I laughed at your heart rates but they do seem “volatile”.
Fortunately mines ticking along steadily, baseline 63 , never gets lower (I’m pacemaker dependent) although it can see highs like you during exercise.

Regardless, hope you stay healthy.
Thanks, Wattie. No work done, not yet at least. Happily, all my risk factors are very low but the little sod refuses to be tamed. The consultant is talking about an ablation but I'll keep an open mind. How are you getting on with the pacemaker now?

I just maxed out at 178 for about 90 seconds. That was getting quite unpleasant. Lord knows what 200+ feels like!

High rates are ok unless they're unsteady. It's when it drops back to double figures and barrels straight back up to the high numbers that it feels a bit more nasty.

Sitting here peacefully tapping away... 125. Go figure!

I Confess I had to look “ablation” up. The electrical system controlling the heart is complex init! I’m sure you’re in good hands and that all will be well.
All fine here, apart from the obvious under skin mechanics, initial Recovery and constant awareness of not being near magnets or iPhones all seems to be ticking along……nicely.
The back of my mind has a battery life indicator tho. ;)

Do you have your own jump leads?

Oh yes. It feels like a shopping trolley with a dodgy wheel or a lumpy old diesel not firing on all cylinders and with dodgy mountings, lurching about all over the place.

And other times it's perfectly fine.

Bit gutted.
I could have sold u my old valve and Duracell charger on eBay, sale no return.
Might have got me into an MC20.

No but I’ve got one of these,

Can’t use jump leads with a pacemaker - I’m hoping for a bj as it’s the last thing I’m gonna remember!
Oh Wattie dear soul, I never had you figured as a fan of his. Now he's giving up the day job he might find time to pop down, but you'd better keep your beloved out of his way - especially if he's a fan of fitness magazines ;)

Any port in a storm, eh?
Talking of which I’m raffling this for Watties “Mc20 fund”
Excellent stuff.

it was my Grandfather's……Penfold Watt.
He was the inventor of the first ever “steam sauna”….unfortunately he’d forgotten to invent Tinder at the same time so he was in it on his own -
fortunately he cleverly remodified it to the steam engine.
Just as electricity became popular.

Morning all...this getting old sh!t is for the birds. But it beats the alternative. Despite exercising daily and still wearing the same size jeans as I did at 16, i'm apparently pre-everything (except menopause). Still no meds, but from force of will and diet watching, more than anything..

That said, awoke at 1000 EDT after not setting an alarm. Best sleep since the COVID fairy's last visit!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful day. Gonna go see what I can get done outside before the inevitable afternoon rains...

Lovely seeing my own car on the roads for two hours! They really are a beautiful car, the sounds and theatre is just epic. Lovely to see Zep and Ash at SportItalia and deliver all the extra bits like 5 wheels and four tyres! A list of jobs for them as long as your arm but principally de-stickying the interior as every button and surface with the coating has broken down.
