Morning all. A car spotters dream on the M20 with numerous cars (I believe) heading off to the Le Mans Classic.
The list of notables are as follows:

A convoy of 5 Corvettes
A convoy of 8 or 9 Aston's including one which was ridiculously loud.
A convoy of 10+ 911's including a GT2 RS
A convoy of 5 or 6 Lamborghini's including a white SVJ

Add to that the odd classic Jaaaag, Austin Healy, and what looked like a Bristol and probably a few others I missed.

Good morning everyone and it's Friday :) still got the exhaust to put back on the Porsche and all the engine covers.
Don't think I would want to be a Specialist on these at my age now.
Give me an Italian V8 :)

Good morning everyone!
Sorry for a bit of radio-silence since LM. Yesterday we finally had some good news for my father - He's been referred to the country's top expert in his condition, who is based at Guy's & Tommie's. Amazingly, this consultant became the specialist when he was a registrar back in 1986 who treated my dad the first time he had this (and when he was the first person in the country to survive).
This means that he's hopefully going to get some treatment soon - only been waiting since January and the decline has been substantial.
Otherwise, a bit of work, a bit of laundry, a bit of packing and a bit of rowing.
HapPea Friday! xXx

Morning all. Great start to the day with some very positive news on a new venture I'm involved with.

The sun is out, the sky is blue and the weekend is almost upon us!

Am in London this morning for a breakfast meeting and taking my son for a laser eye surgery appointment.
Breakfast on Marylebone High Street is a glorious thing.
Currently relaxing in the park watching the world go by and doing email.
Later it’s taking the mother in law for more scans.

Sounds mostly idyllic, Sam, and agreed re Marylebone High Street for breakfast. Good luck and all that with the MiL scans part of the day.

Did London yesterday and it was good. Tapas for dinner and then home. Today, home, work work work work work.

Pleased that your have some positive news on you father.
We are currently researching Pancreatic Cancer specialist treatment and trials to ensure my recently diagnosed mother in law gets the best treatment

Evening chaps. For the history buffs amongst us, today is the 106th anniversary of the ‘Blackest Day’ in British military history; the 1st day of the Battle of the Somme. Upwards of 57,000 British casualties, of which roughly 18,000 were killed, most of which occurred between 07.30am and noon. From 2001 to 2021 the Army lost about 450 soldiers killed in Afghanistan. So the Army of 1916 lost 40 times as many in 4.5 hours than the current Army did in 20 years. The numbers are mind boggling, especially when you realise the current Army at full strength has less than 100,000 men.

Morning, the early crew are up then. I wish I could say I too had a relaxing day but it’s full on chores.

First up front hedges, then putting my Renault 14 driveshaft back in and prepping it for Autoshite ‘Shitfest’ 2022 in a few weeks. This involves a field of similar likeminded fools drinking and camping in a field in Wales with 80’s and 90’s sheds.

Good Morning everyone.
Gave the Boxster a good road test yesterday afternoon on my great local roads and pleased to report she is spot on again.
Want to cut my grass before it gets too warm then relax.
