Good morning all, currently in the queue for diesel
Availability in Hemel Hempstead is unbelievable, I have 30 cars ahead of me and they are pointing tj £35 which is 1/4 of a tank. I need to drive to Liverpool tomorrow and then on to the Lake District so want to start with a full tank.

Morning all. Something of a difficult day yesterday. No doubt the repercussions will be continuing.

Have a good one, all

Liz filled up yesterday around tea time with no real queue. Think it depends on where you live now. London why you are still getting idiots panic buying. Fecking press and news has a lot to answer for with their lies and scaremongering…This is all their fault.

Totally agre, actually drove straight onto the forecourt and no more than 20 seconds for a pump at Sainsbury’s. It was busy but to be fair it was mostly trades and taxis.

Garage ran out of diesel so had to use a different station.
This time lady luck was shining, large Tesco just opened after a delivery, all pumps and lanes open and no limit on fuel.
So tank is brimmed and I can relax knowing that I have enough for my holiday :), well until I need to get home again o_O

Morning all, hump day and more sh1t to shovel.

Had a nice mail from my old boss, now in Aus, who is so desperate to have me back working for her that she is planning on coming back to Ireland next year. If that works out I can see myself progressing with the retirement plan to get out of the rat race over the next year or so but to keep my brain ticking to avoid the high waistband trousers and slippers that old folk seem so keen of

It is ridiculous. We have a very active local FB group, that very effectively reports which garage has what on an hour-by-hour basis. Some are totally out of one fuel or the other, while others have 'just had a delivery' and have an abundant supply of one or the other. And it is very clear that there is no real shortage, just people swarming round whichever garage has fuel and grabbing as much as they can. For anyone going on a long journey, I would suggest just planning to try out some fuel stations on the way, with an expectation that about 1 in 4 will have what you need.

Sound advice, I expect to do about 900 miles over the next 5 days - full tank about 550 so will need more for sure

It's still madness around here (Berkshire/Hampshire borders) - no fuel in loads of stations and choas near those few that have it!

Merc has 10 miles left - Maser has been doing the school run :)

Good Morning chaps.
Have to say well pleased with my 3500kg scissor lift and decided to clean my radiators on the Boxster of debris.
My two post doesn't want to go up or down Twin Busch reckon the electrician's have the phases wrong so I need to chase them.
Stay Safe all.

Morning all
Off to Liverpool for a meeting today, followed by a business dinner at the Liver Building which should be nice.
Then it’s off to the Lakes for four nights, weather does not look very promising but we are in a lovely hotel and am looking forward to doing very little.
Alas, we will be in the Jag and not the Strad.
Stay safe and enjoy

Morning, all. Forgot to sign in!

Reigate this morning. Hopefully mopping up most of the last of the emotional fallout since Wednesday when a terribly sad tragedy befell my team. The last two days have been difficult.
I'm on leave tomorrow but need to make sure I'm still available for support.

Have a good one, all!
