On the first one of these course I attended we am we’re asked what we should do to stay alert if feeling tired on the motorway ?

Obvious answers followed including :

• open window
• turn of radio
• stop for rest

Then the less obvious - speed up and drive really fast !!

The debate that followed was lively and interesting, in the end they had no comeback to the statement that driving fast increased alertness …….. afterall when did you last see an F1 driver fall asleep at the wheel.

It was fun, but next time I will keep flippant answers to myself

Morning all. Took the jag in to get the front pads replaced, so had to be very delicate on the brakes which is no mean feat with the amount of appalling drivers around here.

Then had to walk to the office. Big mistake, its apparently 24 degrees already and wearing a black t-shirt was a bigger mistake!

So currently sitting in my office with the aircon on full blast cooling down.

Just waved my brother and sister in law on their way back to Angleterre and get Ms French on her way to work then a day of running around picking up my French number plates for the 500 twinair after having it a month.
