Morning all, kitchen sink tap lever fell off yesterday so new taps in order first, bath needs re-fixing to the floor, fish tank filter needs changing and a wall in No.5’s bedroom has blown the plaster and needs clearing off before a plasterer arrives this week. Then I can get to the garage if I’m lucky.

Have fun all...

... bath needs re-fixing to the floor ...

Is the gravity a bit weak on your manor, Newton? Try filling it with water, and chuck a person in for good measure. If that doesn’t do the trick you’ve got bigger problems.

In any case, there does seem to be an aquatic skew to your job list today. Good luck!

Morning all a bit of an identity change for the BMW - 01-WX-11172, then a family walk along the beach now the grackles are all starting to go back home

Weird request for an old car but can you take a picture with the new plates when you get a minute Andy. Would like to see what the old girl looks like without the UK plates.

Will do but I will have to wash it first as it would embarrass me if you saw it at the moment ;)

Good morning all......Meeting up with my sister at Reading services later and bring my parents back to Chepstow after them visiting her London way. Think that's the furthest I've been away from Chepstow since March and lock down. But Not untill after the Italian GP........

Morning all, got a good way through the list yesterday but the tap took hours and unravelled alarmingly! Bath to fix and wall to clear the blown plaster off today.

Have fun all...

Good morning everyone, I should be going to bed about now after a night shift of Flight Checking but thanks to Covid19 there's no traffic so they started early and finished around 10pm. Hardly worth the overtime.
So now what do I do?

Morning all. Not much on today, I hope. Possibly some foraging. Maybe a trip to the cinema. Not sure how I feel about that.

Have a great day, all

Still looking good for a car that 19 years old Andy.....
It surprises me how long cars last these days. My first car, 1984 Vauxhall Astra was scrapped after 10 years as the cylinder head failed, it had a rotten chassis and I was posted to Germany. Its not unusual to see cars 20 or 25 years old still on the road and flying through MOTs. I've seen an E46 328i cabriolet and it looks a peach.

well most manufacturers actually support older models; apart from Maserati sub frames rusting most have got a handle on tin worm. This was the traditional demise of most motors but I suppose it is now mostly subject to a major component failure that is uneconomical to repair.

Morning all, need to start sorting the garage in preparation for it coming down to make space for a new one. Clear all the **** and then find a space for all the stuff that needs to be stored during the build, might use one of the outside car cocoons as a temporary shed ;)
