The good morning thread

I had an email from the Covid study app 'inviting me to have a test as part of the study'. Well, there's a centre only a few miles from here in Oxford. No, no, no.... they wanted me to visit MLC at work and go to Gatwick airport. 160 mile round trip, many hours and all at my own expense.... Yeah, maybe that's pushing my willingness to help the study.

Morning all, ran out of hours at the unit yesterday then in the evening Alex turned his ankle so between us we spent till nearly 1.00 AM at the hospital!

Feeling jaded now which is daft as I never turn in before midnight.

More rope construction this AM then up to Islington to fit some of them.

Have fun all...

A morning without any meetings, which is a surprise, so chance to catch up on some emails.

In-laws coming over this evening for the weekend and FIL eager to go out for a pootle in the 4200 :)

Last day in Tuscany. Apart from the spectacular thunderstorms when we arrived the weather has been stunning. Managed to visit San Gimignano yesterday after abortive attempt on TTT
where they ran out of parking spaces.
Have been trundling around in a hateful Citroen C3.

Wow even I haven't got anything bigger than 3/4 and an 80mm socket what are you planning on working on ?
Some of the 40 year old roundabouts in playgrounds take a heck of a lot of shifting! to get apart!
Any use to either of you:

Morning Dave and to all.
Nice waking up back at home.
A chilled weekend before Ms French going out on the road next week on her own and I'm a house husband.
Stay Safe all.

Morning all,
Off to Lake Coniston today, Ruskin Museum, Steam launch trip and a walk up to Tarn Hows, will find time for lazy pub lunch and beers as well.
Weather is still holding out which is good.

Morning all. Chilled day. Some chutney to be made and some crab apple gin for the neighbours. I love this time of year.

Have a great day, all

Will it need a new accent as well, Andy? Perhaps its info messages and warnings might become a little more colourful, or lilting.

Morning, all. Sunny. The parklands need trimming. I’m sure other excitements lay in wait.
