The good morning thread

Morning all. Back to the grindstone after a cracking weekend away with the family in North Wales.

Other good news is that we finally exchanged on our house and move in on 26th of this month. The other news is that it's not the new build we were buying (as it was taking too long April 2021 is the completion date now) and we're moving to Hythe which if you know this part of Kent is actually rather nice.
However, this house is costing significantly more than the previous one. So I guess I'll have to work a bit harder. Or just work would be a start.

I will of course I will set out to immediately lower the tone of the area when we move in.

Morning all, got to get the RR in, one of the fans is running constantly even with ignition off and draining the battery, not the normal a/c fan which is a non problem but one of the ones near the radiator

Touch wood good news a battery reset seems to have cured the immediate issue with the RR but the battery is own its last legs so will be purchasing a new one just in case - sounds very Maserati

Good morning!
A couple of meetings, a quick wash of the Spyder and then off to TG filming. My friend who's coming has no idea what our activity is. He's going to be chuffed.
HapPea Wednesday! xXx

Stay Safe all.

Covid, customers are predicting 50 to 60% of 2019 volumes for 2021. The only saving grace for my region is that we have just closed Ebbw Vale so redundancy is very minimal in Gloucester which I have time to negate if possible being the end of the year.

Not good Andy.

Morning all, dancing cars around first to make room on the drive for a plasterer (doing a wall in one of the bedrooms) and the Mas to be cleaned and to fit the new radio/CarPlay. Later to Top Gear filming with Jeanette.

Have fun all...

Don't envy you Andy.

Morning, all. Got some bits and bobs to do today, then coffee with Mrs Catman, assuming it's still allowed <sigh>

Have a great day, all

Good morning everyone, St Bin day and I'm WFH, or more accurately AFH audit from home, with CAA. Not sure how this will work but we'll see. Then top gear later...

Morning all, not good Andy same here we are losing 10% of the workforce and although for some the package is good many other companies here are doing the same so the job market is flat - net result loads of applicants for very few jobs.

We are in for a very bumpy time Andy...…...It feels like it could take many, many years to put right. Are you OK buddy...?

The hospitality industry in this country is going to take years to recover.
Which it will, but it won't be anything like it is now. I'd hate to be a pub, restaurant or hotel owner right now.

We have a small N Wales B&B. We have lost 40% nett year on year and now running 20% down on capacity to adhere to Covid guidelines. With luck and hard work we may break even this year - zero income - provided we don't see any more lockdown
