Hottest day of the year and the c o c k of a neighbour decides he will light his outdoor fire thing... so thats all the windows closed in my house to stop us being fumigated.

I suspect it was in responce to me mowing the lawn last evening at 19:40 which I had put off all day as he had guests in the garden.

Needless to say a hot and bothered nigts sleep, or lack thereof.

Keep your windows closed anyway, Peter. It keeps the hottest heat of the year outside, where it belongs. No point opening them all to warm your house up.

Morning, all. Today, dunno. Last night we had a superb BBQ of squid and prawns and a bottle of something white and cold, outside in the cool evening air under the grapevine. Bloody lovely. That's a memory to hang on to for when the weather is crappy and cold and damp.

Morning all,

It’s a lovely sunny day here and not so unpleasantly hot - so a perfect morning for lazing on a sun lounger with a milky coffee!... bit later there will be exercise whilst watching the Grand Prix.

Jeanette took the GS to Sittingbourne today and enjoyed herself apparently! I had to get it out of the garage, dust it off, check the tyres, fill it with 99 RON and put it away now she is back. Christ how easily we forget how blummin good these cars are.... Smile restored :D

Manly tasks today. Helping Mrs Submariner with a COVID coloring job on her hair. Not for the timid, and not for those who believe they know what they’re doing in all situations that call for a bundle of hair in the hand. If I’m not on later, you’ll know the cause of death.

You as well? I've been booked in for another appointment, so I guess I didn't **** it up too much the first time.

Afternoon all and another beautiful day here.
Had a cracking evening got the record player outside and playing the vinyl it was Great Fun.
Stay Safe all.
The sound of your Vera Lynn 78's drifting over the hedgerows must've bought back some memories for your neighbours Phil.;)

Morning, too hot to sleep even with an AC unit grinding away in the bedroom so gave up and got up.
