Good morning everyone!
My left foot and leg have swollen up thanks to some critter having bitten or stung me. Not great but at least it hasn't got worse overnight.
Monster loaf about to bake in the oven which should do me for the week. I'm quite looking forward to what it'll be like as it's a mix of two flours that I've not used before. Oh the bread baking geek that I'm becoming.
HapPea Monday! xXx

Morning,
No work until next week for me, more decorating and en-suite building shenanigans.
Oh....and the bin collectors have just been..
Have a good day,
Dave

Morning, you 'orrible lot. The house was a bit cooler last night. The strategy of all windows open first thing and then all windows and closed until the air outside is cooler than inside seems to be working. But it was still too hot for comfort.

Today, some chasing around after people who's responsiveness is slower than I'd like, and then a long-term fee and equity discussion in relation to one project which is started to become really interesting. We also have a visit later from the bathroom / wetroom guy who's probably going to explain that I should have been a lot more assertive on the discussion relating to fees.

I'm also planning to spend a healthy amount of time in the garden, which is where I am now, with you lot and a coffee.

Morning all. Interesting week coming up. 2 days of Daddy day care whilst also trying to work.
And on Wednesday I'm donating plasma for Covid sufferers. So I will get a definitive answer to whether I had it, even though I'm 99.999999% sure I have.
Will be very shocked if it turns out I didn't get it!

More ducking and diving, wheeling and dealing to be done in the meantime.

Good onya. You're statistically highly unlikely to have got it. I spent January trudging around Asia and northern Italy and managed to avoid it. Unless I'm one of those who just got Covid-lite, I suppose.

It’s Monday, if you’re going on Teams/Zoom you’ll need to remember to take the basque and stockings off or put a jacket over the top.

Morning all, off for a picnic in deepest Kent.

Must I? They are so comfortable and I feel that you're oppressing me unfairly ;)

I went to the Doc's for an MOT in early March and explained my symptoms, and said they were 99% sure I had caught Covid.

The antibodies will be able to tell me on Wednesday either way.

The plasma donation is quite involved as they take 2 pints of blood !!

To be fair they do put it back again, once they have filtered out what they want.

My daughter thought it would be like giving blood, but it’s very different......... great thing to do though, well done !!

Be fair... the stockings can stay on as they shouldn't be visible. Although maybe they should come off because his legs will be too warm.

I didn't actually know what was involved to be honest. Thought it would be just like donating an armful. Which I've done over 25 times (found the badge a few weeks ago).

I'll happily donate as often as I can (if of course I do have the antibodies).
