The good morning thread

Can I borrow your MM calculator, please? I don't buy a season ticket to go to London. In fact I barely go out! Mrs C is still not keen on me buying another car though ;)

C

Ahhh, it's not a Man-Maths Calculator you need. It's a Man-Excuse Generator(TM)*. Every man should own one.

*Guaranteed to not work. Guaranteed to pi55 her off even more than if you just shrugged and said 'yeah, wevs'.

Morning all, woken at 3 by someone rattling the windows in the surrounding square mile! No chance of getting back to sleep so I woke her up! I think that was the loudest ever.

Now drinking tea, hoping for a lay in.

Have fun all...

Newton was first today, courtesy of his window-rattler. I'm sure he'd rather not have been.

The highlight of today in Maison Crud is the eagerly anticipated delivery of a large consignment of meat from our most excellent and friendly local butcher. As ever, I'll be curious to see if he presents his meat proudly at the front door, or delivers it furtively up the back passage.

With that crucial insight into his orientation dealt with, we shall then set about distributing sausages and other lockdown essentials to local self-isolating vegetarians. It's a test of their resolve, you see.

Morning everybody. Well we had heavy rain last night (much needed TBH after 2 months of drought up here). Off to the recycling centre this morning to get rid of the 28 tins of half used paint I found in my garage. :as001 (2):

Morning all and the last day of the fast so just waking up for the second time.
Getting a bit frantic here as can't get a removal company without paying loads of money so it's going to be a hired tail lift and a mate with Ms French in charge all to be happening soon hopefully :)

Morning all, full diary of conference calls this morning. Put diesel in the Merc, first time since March I think and bought charcoal so it’s bound to pee it down this weekend.

Morning all. Where's the sun gone?

Bit of work this morning and then errrr, feet up in front of the tv I guess. Is it still acceptable to start drinking in the morning now most of the country are back at work?
Le Mans being a notable exception, as it's acceptable at any time!

An old vegetarian friend(he didn't like the meat in the RAF and it put him off) used to salivate when I made bacon butties. I'm sure he dipped his bread in the dripping..
