Hello everyone!
Oh, so that's what proper sleep in my own bed feels like? I'll be working from a colleague/friend's house later so we can do some project stuff without other people bothering us. She's also a fantastic cook of South Indian quisine, so lunch will be excellent.
It also looks like a lovely plan is coming together involving interloping with a Maser at a Mustang gathering in Belgium. A surprise turn-up for my best friend's 50'th.
HapPea Wednesday!

Morning all. Half day today (if I can).

Had a very successful meeting in Nottingham yesterday, followed by the journey from **** coming back.
Started with a flat battery, and a RAC call out.
New battery bought and fitted.

And then had to endure 7 and a half hours getting back to Ashford.

M25 shut because of an accident. At one point I had travelled 3 miles in the same time it took me to get to Nottingham in the morning.

Got in at ten to 9!

Think I deserve half a day!

Morning. Day off again. Need to mow the lawn and probably pick up ex-kitty's ashes. Still miss him, but remainer kitty (Down, Wattie ! DOWN) is looking a bit morose.
Some other bits and bobs, and try not to get involved with work ****!

Have a good day, all

Yes it belonged to one of my fellow club members (there are only about 50 of us) who was killed in the car on his way back from an event.

Very sad.

It doesn’t take much of a hit in these old things to get taken.

That is sad, Matt. I didn't think spares could be sold from cars involved in a fatal accident. All permanently scrapped, never to be seen again. Is that not the case?

Morning, all. Back up to the big smoke today, then dinner with some old friends tonight. One of them is working in film classification and informs me, to our mutual horror, that there is such a thing a Manga child pornography. It's a Japanese thing. It is clear that limiting cars to 112mph has allowed other antisocial tendencies to emerge instead. We should learn from this vile lesson.

Off to Bordeaux today for sister in laws wedding over the weekend.
Should be good 24 guests staying in a Chateau for two nights.
Thinking about it, there will be only me that hasn't any French blood attending. Benny would love it!
