No cycling commute today. My road really is an ice rink from the snow slush refreezing.
Instead it's a wellyboot walk to the bus and very very pretty through scrunching white fields it was!

Then back to the office for more of the usual stuff.

I've got a mofo of a cold and it's pissing me off. I'm supposed to be going to Glasgow tomorrow but a dark o'clock start for a 7.30 flight and home in the evening sounds bloody shite. Will have a word with myself later and see what feels like the best thing to do.

Newton, in the summer your largely outdoors working life must sometimes be very pleasant. This time of year I have no idea how you do it. Even the thought of going outside to get back inside somewhere else is unappealing!

Right, I have some e-paperwork to crack on with. Indoors.

With my size I don't do well in high temperatures so I actually prefer it cold but I agree it is not pleasant when it is wet cold combined. The only plus in those conditions is the parks are empty except joggers and dog walkers, the snowflakes are all indoors playing on their games consoles and I get left alone...
