Back from dentist after a long session. face is all numb but all done now so I am in a grumpy mood. Cannot eat until teatime which should help the weight loss thread

Good Morning
It's a crappy morning and cold.
Just a thought, I work as a retained Firefighter as a bit of a hobby, woke up this morning to the sound of my pager at 06.30. RTC person's trapped. Car iced up. anyway when I eventually got to the station it was both of our appliances. Got to the incident which involved a single car and a JCB Fast Track. Well they're huge and dont move much when hit by a Ford Fiesta. The driver was in the wrong as he was overtaking a line of lorries in the dark fog at speed. Well anyway some family will be getting a that dredded visit from a Police officer some time today to say their son wont be coming home ever again.

So moral of the story is please dont do silly things in your car even if your late for work. I know we all enjoy our cars but it's just not worth it. Think of the people you'd leave.

This must be the latest good morning I’ve said....Good morning sort off......The return of the vomit last night with a vengeance. That’s bloody twice in 6 weeks. Never I’ll normally. No way could I drive to work so a day off feeling sorry for myself.

That's a horrible start for many people's day, yours included. I suppose you get used to it to some extent, but it must still be pretty traumatic. As you say, rather focuses the mind.

Not sure I could do that job but I am glad somebody does, Mum always told me better to be 10 mins late in this world rather than 10 years early in the next.

a very good morning to all, just had fifth espresso, now buzzing and ready to rock n roll, got 85 holes to drill in a load of steel stanchions (courtesy of a groundworker that cant read a basic plan) , not the sort of drilling I normally like, nudge nudge wink wink, yall have a good day now you hear

Crickey, my days a walk in the park in comparison, good luck.

Morning, just work but seeing Zep tonight I think at the weekly Asia dinning experience with liquid refreshment. One more week of no booze to go.

Morning. I didn't start until 6th Jan as we had events going on so I've got another 2 weeks to go, The first week was hard but now I've stopped shaking I'm ok now :p
Might try and go to Valentines day.

Morning all. Another day of feeling like shite due to the remnants of this sickness bug. I eat yesterday lunch and dinner but still feel rubbish.
Quite frankly I'm bored of it now.

Another day of 'office' stuff awaits!
