Morning all, last day of madness and then it will be post mortem of went well and what didn't - 5 days of teams working together to keep things going will turn into individuals throwing mud at each other.

You try finding a RHD one, it’s impossible. There are about 5 left. I know they are horrendous pile of French poo but it was my first car and cut my teeth on car repairs on it.

I'm pretty sure there is one in a place near me called Aldington (not too far from the Tiger Pub) as I'm sure I've seen it a couple of time when out on a bike ride.

Morning all. More of the same this week. Lots to get completed before Friday.
Why do the Government give ridiculous timescale when they want something, yet when you want something, it's given about 4 years?

Back to the grindstone!

Morning, all. Yesterday I got sunburned. Look like a bloody lobster. Oh well. Had a cracking BBQd steak last night and some lovely wine. Cheap as chips, too. Best get up and do some work. The trouble with being in a -hrs time zone is waking up to a load of shite instead of it being less of an avalanche. First job- coffee. Second job - try to not be an impatient ******* by phone and email.

Have a good day, everyone.

Morning all having Fun and Games as a tenant here with the agency and the owner as the heating engineer said he can't get the heating going as the boiler is dangerous and that he told them so 3 months ago.
Being a Landlord myself in the UK I know how much Fun it is especially as my place has cost me a few quid in the last 4 years.
So we will have some Fun today or Ms French will better for them as she is nicer and I'm a little hacked off.
Have a Good One all.

If its the same as the UK, you can stop paying the rent until the building is deemed fit for purpose.

Spend the savings on plonk and cheese :)

Got a first prototype of the reason why I sold my GTS yesterday.

Not much to it to be honest.

This will reduce your heating costs by 16%.
Should be available early next year.

The Maser is definitely better looking!

Is it based on those magnet systems you put on your fuel lines to increase MPG?

Sorry, I shouldn't be so flippant :)

No because they don't work. Ask the BRE (Buildings Research Establishment) as they have tested loads of them. And none have worked.
Also, Audi, Porsche, Mercedes, Ford, Vauxhall, and probably many more also tested them in the 70's and 80's on cars and found they didn't work.

Ours does though. We had the BRE test it. We've been installing a version of this on commercial boilers for years.
This is for domestic boilers. Will retail for around £200-£250. With the increase in energy prices (up 50% in the last 12 months) it should pay for itself in 12-18 months.
Unless you are one of the lucky ones who has your energy company give it to you.

Well done, Dot! Good luck with that. Forum rates or friendly user trial freebies are always welcomed.

Morning, all. A rudely early start for a contract negotiation call with a customer in India, now battling through stuff. Flying north up the coast to Sao Paulo this afternoon. Until then I need to make the most of being in a much less crowded, dirty and far more attractive city.
