Morning, all. MOT day today. Happily the new Yellow Stuff pads are doing a good job despite only being 10 miles bedded in. The handbrake shoes need some adjustment before I pass but otherwise all good.

Morning all, just six local sites to inspect this morning then to see my local engineer shop that have closed and are selling off their machines with a view to bringing home a bench grinder, pillar drill and a few other bits. Sad they have closed the doors after 50 years as a family business, most of the big machines have been sold stupidly cheap for export to India.

Later I'm meeting Alex at Ilford to take the first of his BMW seats to the upholsterer for restructuring and covering.

Today will probably involve mowing the lawn, more polishing of the cars (I'm confident to move onto Myfanwy now, ready for Blenheim next weekend)and some cooking.

Oh, and then there's the having to deal with the consequences of allowing a lady to take advantage of me in the pub last night... I'm going to get back in a rowing boat for the first time in 12 years!
