The good morning thread

Morning everyone!
A slow day today involving church, gym and sorting out junk.
I popped to the local Alfa showroom yesterday and got a drive of the Giulia. It's very stylishly put together both inside and out. Lots of nice leather touches and good interior lines for visibility and ease for the driver. Yep, I was impressed with the handling and responsiveness even of the diseasel. Things I didn't like? The engine was very noisy and abtrusively so (need to try a petrol), and the fitments of the interior feel flimsy.
On an interesting aside, apparently you can get the "brand loyalty" discount with Alfa (£2.5k in this instance) for having a Maserati.
HapPea Sunday!

Morning all. Another polytunnel built yesterday. Today is to build a raised stud and treated chipboard floor. Then get a power extension to external socket type run power in for dehumidifier and trickle charger.

On another train going to collect a car... seems to have been a theme the last year! When I get home we will have 7 cars and two motorbikes at our disposal! Look out Phil!

7 is indeed the magic number Not sure if it is going to go 8 then 7 or 6 then 7 for me next. Who has a double digit garage then?

Morning all. Hate cold early Monday airport starts.

I've been very pleased with the polytunnel Dean - good to hear they are working for you too.

Morning all.

Thanks Drew. The 2nd one built on Sat is leaking slightly along a badly made seam in the roof section. It seems slightly different to the 1st one which is fine. I will get them to send a replacement cover to see if that is better. Had to hold fire putting the boards down due to this but got all the DPM and stud all done.

Morning,

Back to work after a long weekend. Some fun overtakes driving home last night, it does appear to be a lost art though. People seem to just form queues with no gaps in making multiple cars overtakes a necessity.

Have a good one all

Enjoy the Volvo, Newton!

Morning, all. WFH today. My diary is a mess of calls from now until long after dark. Whatever happened to working at home being a metaphor for taking it easy and mooching round doing bugger all? The world's gone mad!

Morning all.

Just back home from LHR. Something of a hike from Phuket it must be said. Rather less rested than when we left the sun, but it's all good.

Waiting for the traffic to calm down so I can take the GT out :)

Have a great day, all

Morning all, plans scuppered by eldest being off school so am this morning at least a stay at home Dad. Dropping the GTS off in London later so they can start to repair the roof damage and as it was a "fault" claim means I don't get a courtesy car from insurance etc which despite me having access to a few more vehicles is a PITA as 2 of them are SORNED and sleeping for winter. The Golf is going to have to get some use then!

Steady quiet week I reckon before going mental again the week after.
