Benny 'hangs out' there a lot. If you take away the first letter of each word you'll see why he goes there!!

The bikes just been serviced and is ready, well one of them anyway, going to do the Jamis 29'er this weekend:

New tyres and tubes, tank bag with 50k battery to charge the iPhone 6 plus navigation, crank and transmission stripped, checked and reassembled. Carbon frame inspected for cracks.

Lycra body suit, CHECK

Bikes, CHECK

Imodium, CHECK (Never go to France without the stuff!)

Very nice looking steed you have there.

Good to see others have good taste as well. I am a true fan of Assos gear as well. I have a winter suit I have had for 7 years worn it pretty much everyday in the winter and my commute is 16.5miles each way. It is still in very good nick. Slight balling of the fabric around the inside of the thighs but very minimal.

Expensive but in my opinion worth every single penny.

Have a good ride chaps and well done to Drew for stepping in.

Urby I hope your father gets better.

You seem to know a lot about the subject. Is that why you spent so much time in Manchester?

For people looking for some cheaper kit, Aldi have a load of cycling gear coming on sale on Thursday.

Some of the kit is now pretty good - not in the Assos/Rapha league, granted, but then it's a fraction of the price. The tools in particular are well worth having.

2nd that- I bought a complete tool kit from there, think it was £26 and to be fair they are not actually that bad.

Well, just when you think everything is going to plan, we get dealt another blow.

Drew came off his bike yesterday and has just had broken ribs confirmed!

Is there anyone out there who can step in for some, part or all of the ride?

We leave Sunday evening and return on the Saturday 2 weeks later.

The ride will still go ahead but the thought of riding it l'll on my own is going to be a real struggle.

Anyone who maybe able to help, can you call me: 07973 363652

Many thanks

OH NO...!!!!
It's no good then, Benny will just have to do the ride on a bike instead of in the car..!! Plenty of wadding required though..!!
Drew, get well quick mate, really feel for you..!!
