"we really sorry for you to leave, do you really want to miss out on top sport such as International Tiddlywinks, Topless Darts for only £60 a month?"

We'd really like you to stay, we'll offer you top sport for £20 a month for the next 3 months

Makes you wonder how many fall at the first hurdle and have sort for £60 a month.

I have a problem with the signal to my sky box. My neighbours have a silver birch tree which, when the wind blows, interferes with the signal to my dish. Usually when the F1 is on.

I could have the dish moved for a couple of hundred quid, but Sky have another option, Sky Glass, which is a bit cheaper than I am paying right now.

Has anyone got it, is it any good? Are there any limitations compared to a Sky Q box?

To put it simply. Sky glass does everything that the Q box does with the exception of recording. Im not sure if you can pause live tv as a result.

Like most people you probably have your own box set recordings on your Q box which you keep forever and watch whenever you like from either the main Q box or a mini Q box in another room.

Sky glass doesnt record anything but instead puts a book mark in the planner that links through to whichever streaming service it is available on. Such as bbc iplayer, itv hub, more 4 and the like. Which is fine until the streaming service its stored on removes the programme. You then have a book mark with nothing to watch attached to it.

You also need an extra puck for each room. First one is free i believe but after that you pay for additional rooms.

If your internet goes down your stuck with terrestrial TV as a back up provided you still have an aerial.

If i was betting they will bring out a V2 of sky glass with a built in hard drive. Seems like a fundamental oversight to me when people will compare sky q to sky glass.

Sky moved my dish FOC just a few months ago as trees next to my house started to interfere.

Im in contract, arranged a site visit and he moved it there and then
