Scammers on Wanted Ads

We have had a few attempts recently from scammers joining the forum and replying to wanted ads.

As with all transactions, we urge you to take care to make sure any offers of parts or cars are genuine and take the same precautions you would take on off forum purchases. If you have any concerns about members offering responses to wanted ads, please raise it with the mods (if we aren't already on it) and we will look into their details.

While there are various tools in place to prevent scammers from joining, they do get through at times so buyer beware. If it is too good to be true, it usually is.
