The first Strad I ever saw, at a Maserati track day at Goodwood back in about 2012, had the rear roll cage. But I’ve never seen another Strad with it.
They are still available and I’m toying with the idea of fitting one to mine. Dynamically, this is pointless (for my driving/use), but it seems like a fun thing to do, while adding a bit of extra drama and Maserati madness. You’d not do without one in a 911 GT3, so why miss out in a Strad?
Have I lost the plot? Or is this exactly the sort of thing that helps set the 2 seater apart from the 4 seat version, making it a must-do?
