Its particularly sad because my 145 has been in my family since new
My father bought it new then I bought it from him when it was 3 years old. I won't be driving it to the scrappy, its worse than that, I have to break it myself then get the scrappy to collect whats left
. I know if I sold it, someone else would break it so best to do it myself and make some money back and help others to live on.
The 145 came back on a trailer today from the car restorer, its only the 3rd car he's ever had in his workshop that hasn't been driven home. He said he kept looking at it trying to figure out how to save the car but it just can't be done without huge expense.
Picked up the 147 Ducati Corse last night, I think its going to be a licence loser! I never imagined a diesel could be that quick! With the sport button pressed its awesome! Handles well too. Very chuffed with it and I only paid what it would have cost to fix the 145 properly, doesn't make it any easier though. I'll post up some pics in the next couple of days.
